Great bails for the price

I was pleasantly surprised by these bails. They were pretty cheap so I was worried the plating would be poor or that they'd be malformed but they were pretty nice for this price point. The one complaint I have is that they came pinched shut all the way and are fairly difficult to open. I'm concerned that opening them and closing them again on a pendant will work-harden the cheap metal to the point where it could break. With many of the inexpensive alloys you only have one chance to adjust the metal before it snaps, so it would be nice if these were cast in the open position and left open until the consumer uses them.
